Surely it's not most women's idea of a romantic proposal. However, Jay Cutler somehow seems to think that proposing through text is romantic.

Lucky for NFL player Jay Cutler, Kristin Cavallari said yes. If not, this may be considered one of the laziest ways to propose. The Chicago Bears player is officially engaged to reality star Kristin Cavallari.

While other famous celebrities plan out romantic and intimate wedding proposals, Jay Cutler is definitely not feeling like Casanova. But good for him that his fiancée, Kristin Cavallari, is not at all too hard to please. If it were another celebrity diva, his ring would have been mailed back to its sender.

According to reports from E! Online, the celebrity and the pro athlete have already picked out a date. Although she didn't give other details about when the wedding will happen, she confirmed that it will definitely be this year.

Regarding Cutler's quirky proposal, Kristin was kind enough to share the experience. She openly talked about how Cutler proposed to her.

"It was so silly. I was in the airport, leaving Chicago. We had just spent however many days together and we were texting and somehow it came up, like, 'Oh, shall we get married?' We're like, 'Yeah, OK.' And then he sent my ring in the mail. So I actually had my ring sitting at home for a couple of weeks before I put it on," Cavallari said.

Well everybody is hoping that this time, their engagement and their wedding actually pushes through. Looking back in April 2011, the two got engaged only to break up three months after. Later in November the same year, Jay and Kristin reconciled and worked out their relationship until now. Last year in August, they welcomed their first child Camden.

Apart from the warm wishes, props should be given out to Cutler for pulling that one of a kind proposal.
