Jay Z and Beyonce Got Obama’s Back, Power Couple To Host Lavish Fundraiser
Power couple Jay Z and Beyonce has both always been vocal about their support for President Barack Obama. But now that he's fighting for his second term for presidency, the famous couple reassures him that they got his back.
Beyonce and Jay Z are currently hosting a lavish fundraising party for Barack Obama in New York. They held it at the rapper's very own 40/40 Club. Although it remains an intimate and private event, it certainly won't be low key.
According to reports from the New York Post, a ticket to attend the luxurious fundraiser is priced at a staggering $40,000. A representative of the club told the newspaper that details about the fundraiser are "under lock and key."
It is not confirmed how many people will be attending the bash but the New York Post claimed that around 100 guests will be present for the night. Jay Z took it on his Twitter page earlier by posting, "Guest list: Obama plus 40."
The lavish 40/40 Club has gone through a $10 million renovation. A club representative said that there were floor to ceiling gold bottles and the entire place was "breathtaking."
It is speculated that it will be President Obama's last stop for his New York campaign and it would only be apt that he ends it by spending time with one of his biggest and most famous supporters.
Just last month, Obama revealed that he is a big fan of Jay Z and Beyonce's music, revealing that he listens to them on his iPod.
"I will say right now that if I'm really trying to get my heart rate up, Crazy In Love is a pretty good song to work out to," Obama said.
His wife, Michelle, is also known to be close to Beyonce. Queen B once posted an open letter to Michelle Obama on her website and talked about how relieved she was that her daughter would have someone to look up to.
