Fans would think that the famous rapper Jay Z, who is currently married to iconic singer Beyoncé, is teeming with youthfulness and energy. While Jay Z might look young for his age on the outside, the "Drunk In Love" rapper is actually more than what his press releases are. Torain claims that Jay Z is an old 50 year old because he and Jay Z are "age mates."

"I shouldn't blow this up, maybe because he doesn't promote it publicly, but Ja-Z and I are the same age," Torain said to a caller on his radio segment, Star: Live and Direct.

"I will be 50 on May 3. He's 43, 42...that's just media bulls**t!" The radio host further added. If Torain's claims are to be believed, then Shawn Carter (or more commonly known as Jay Z) is 18 years older than his lady love, Beyoncé.

Beyoncé is not safe from the 'changing age' rumor. Accordingly, Beyoncé is actually 35 years old and not 32 years old which the singer most commonly announces to the public. If that were the case, then that makes the actual age gap of Jay Z and her just 15 years.

Either way, Jay Z and Beyoncé are top-of-the-notch performers, so how old they are would not matter. In other news, Beyoncé is about to finish the Mrs. Carter World Tour. The singer was recently spotted in the romantic City of Lights with her hubby Jay Z.
