"Who is he?" This existential question may be haunting Jay Z for the last 24 hours, as news of this innocent query has become viral. He is being shown on YouTube reacting with annoyed astonishment when someone in Louvre Museum, Paris, asked who he was, according to ksfm.

The question was popped by a tourist at the museum, who was trying to get some shots of the world famous rapper on his way into Louvre. Jay's group of security guards included Julius, was trying to ensure that no one photographed or filmed them. But even though their entourage indicated Jay Z's status and position, the one tourist who didn't have a clue about them was keen to click.

The cameraman was stopped by the security guard. Beyonce, his beautiful wife, was trailing behind him, taking her own pictures. The uninformed videographer tried to laugh it off, but many feel that he must be obviously stung, or thrilled, as his faux pas has made his voice as famous as Jay's, even though no one knows how he looks!

Some of the tourists did not bother to listen to the guards, but one man did not even know who Jay was, and why he should not be videographed or photographed. "Who is he?" he asked, about the member of the Knowles-Carter family. Stung, Jay Z flicked his head around and retorted with a hard glance: "Who are you?" The spontaneous response seemed to show that he was stunned and a bit bridled.

Since then, the video has gone viral, with a number of reactions from people delighted about the ignorance over his identity.

Bey and Jay have been on a touristy "do" through the city. Blue was a stylish toddler in a red dress and leather jacket, Beyonce in a black t-shirt with a multi-coloured American flag, leather trousers and high heeled boots, while Jay wore a metallic silver bomber jacket over casual jeans.

The baby looked tired when they emerged. Last week, the power couple has been planning to buy a house near the Elysee Palace, which had another powerful resident, the President. Since then, the pair has barely been able to leave the French capital since wrapping up their "On The Run" tour on Sept. 13.
