This week, viewers were treated to a leaked video of a furious Solange repeatedly kicking Jay Z in an elevator. The video was leaked by TMZ on their website, and the incident reportedly happened after the Met Gala event on May 5. The video was taken from the security camera of Standard Hotel in New York City.

Others were surprised to see the usual happy Carter-Knowles family caught in a feud. Ever since the video leaked, speculations have risen on why Solange had fought with her brother-in-law. Speculations such as Jay Z committing infidelity, to Solange being drank and overprotective of Beyonce. However, CNN reported that on Thursday, the trio broke their silence and released an official statement to the Associated Press regarding the incident.

Associated Press reported that on Thursday, Beyonce dispelled rumours that Solange was intoxicated or drunk, claiming that families too have their problems and they're no different from the rest. Both Solange and Jay Z have also acknowledged their role in the fight and have since apologized to each other. Now, they have moved on as a united family.

While Beyonce fans and the Carter-Knowles family have moved on from the incident, the cast of "Saturday Night Live" hasn't.

"Saturday Night Live" opened its 39th season finale with a hilarious spoof of the Jay Z-Solange elevator fight. The comic members of the hit show explained what really happened at the Standard Hotel last week on May 5.
