Jeff Hardy, who is currently suffering with a broken leg, considers returning to WWE for one last time and revive the legendary feud with the Dudley Boyz.

"I’m not sure when, but I think both Matt and myself would love to end our careers in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and it’d be super, double great to be able to have a few more good ones with the Dudley Boyz, for sure.” Jeff Hardy said on Ric Flair’s podcast, as reported by Inside Pulse.

Currently, Jeff is recovering from the leg injury which he suffered in a dirt bike accident back in May. Before the injury, Jeff and Matt Hardy were having a run as the Total Nonstop Action (TNA) World Tag Team Champions.

The seriousness of the injury caused TNA to rethink their plans about the title and shortly after, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards were made the champions after having a classic five match feud with Austin Aires and Bobby Roode.

In the podcast interview with Flair, Jeff announced about his plans of wrestling with the injured knee, wearing a knee brace. However, he also confessed about his concerns regarding the act and was unsure about his body being able to cope with the pressure.

Jeff hardy is currently under contract with TNA for a couple of more weeks, which may suggest that he may have one more match left with the company which goes on to show Dixie Carter’s lack of care for her wrestlers. Given Impact Wrestling’s debut with POP TV in January, a match featuring the Hardy’s would help the occasion massively.

Although a surprise entry in WWE’s upcoming January pay-per-view, Royal Rumble would have sent the spectators into ruptures and it seems unlikely that the Hardy Boys would feature full time on the road for WWE soon. A return for them would surely increase the merchandise sales for WWE and Vince McMahon would be more than happy to see fans returning to watch Monday Night Raw, which has been a stale show of late.

Meanwhile, Jeff must ensure that he does not do any permanent damage to his leg, or all the nostalgia regarding his return and a potential ladders match with the Dudley’s will go to waste.
