Hours before the Billboard Music Awards for 2013 had taken place, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez enjoyed a quick date together. This hook-up definitely adds burning questions to the real status of their complicated relationship. Where, what and when exactly did these two meet up for a date before the BMA's?

Unluckily for Justin and Selena, what happens to them in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas. The on-off and on again couple were spotted attending the late night performance at the Mirage in Las Vegas. What did the lovebirds watch this evening, an hour before their separate performances at the Billboard Music Awards? Onlookers saw the "Jelena" couple enjoying the performance of LOVE by Cirque du Soleil.

"The pair got close and comfortable in their seats while snacking on peanut M&Ms and Mike and Ikes candy," stated the source to E! News, adding, "Bieber was sporting a low hat and sunglasses during the show."

PDA was also high that night because viewers present at the event claimed to have seen Selena "nuzzling right into" Justin as soon as the lights dimmed down. Hours after the show, before Selena and Justin had parted for their BMA performance, PDA was also equally high.

"They left before the show ended and left separately and kissed each other goodbye," said the source.

Obviously, Selena is not available as opposed to her radio interview late last week. Judging from the PDA and the hook-ups with Bieber, the couple is back on and working hard to make things work. In fact, things may be about to get serious with tabloids claiming Justin might just pop the question any time this month.

Rumours have surfaced that the Canadian crooner has been looking for a diamond engagement ring for his Latina love, Selena. Beverly Hills jeweller, Neil Lane has been eyed for the rock job by Bieber.

"Justin is planning to go through final designs with Neil in the next week. At the moment his favourite idea is a huge, canary yellow, princess-cut diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds and set in white or yellow gold," claimed the source to the Daily Star.

Well, fans of these two could only hope a diamond ring is enough to make the "Jelena" duo last. For now, "Selenators" and "Beliebers" are solely focused on Justin and Selena's performances tonight at the Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand.
