In a recent interview with the lovely Latina, Selena confessed to having been asked on a date but that's where the story ends. For now, Selena is copying BFF Taylor Swift and currently enjoying the single life.

After being in a tumultuous two year relationship with Justin Bieber, fans of Selena Gomez can clearly understand why she has chosen to stay single for now. While Selena and Justin are still moving on from the heart break, unlike Justin who has been in countless relationships since the split, Gomez is staying single. Even with the rumours of Selena dating David Henrie to Austin Mahone and George Shelley, the truth is Selena hasn't been dating any of these boys.

"I'm very content with how I've been living my life and you know if that comes that comes, but I'm enjoying being single," stated Gomez in an interview with Zach Sang and the Gang.

For Gomez, the dating rules don't apply. Right now, all that matters is falling in love at the right time with the right person.

"I don't believe that because all that stuff just feeds people's minds, saying, 'You'll be fine, you just need to make sure you spend this time doing this, and x amount of time will allow you to do this,'" stated Gomez.

"If you fall in love, you fall in love. If you don't you don't," continued the "Come & Get It" singer.
