Jennette McCurdy created another controversy by skipping the recently concluded Kids Choice Awards, sparking speculations of her fall out with "Sam&Cat" co-star Ariana Grande.

The 21-year-old actress and singer was suppose to attend the Nickelodean bash at the University of Southern California's Galen Center on Saturday along with other cast and crew of popular TV Series "Sam&Cat". However, McCurdy did not appear at the event leaving her fans bewildered.

There were many reasons for McCurdy to attend the award function. First of all "Sam&Cat" went on to win the favorite TV show award and second McCurdy was nominated in the best actress category.

Regarding her absence form the award function, McCurdy stated on twitter, "A lot of you guys are asking why I didn't attend the KCAs.... I wish I could explain everything as thoroughly as I would like to, but unfortunately a simpler explanation is all I can write.

"I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me. I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing."

Moreover, what looked like denying the feud rumors with Grande, McCurdy further tweeted, "I want to thank those of you who have reached out with kind words of support, McCurdians and Arianators alike. No matter who or what you support, I believe in supporting fairness first. If you have done that, thank you."

It was even speculated that the 21-year-old actress gave a no show due to her recently leaked racy pictures. However, she put the conjecture to rest by mentioning in her tweet that her skipping the event had nothing to do with the pictures and apparently, the reason for her skipping was her fall out with the Channel Nickelodeon.
