"How I Met Your Mother" sure knows how to pull a few strings. Now creators Craig Thomas and Carter Bays are pulling in another one saying this time they'll just have to bring in the mom. Rumor is it's Jennifer Aniston.

With the show on its 8th season, it is a big question as to how the season will end. Another question is when will they finally reveal who the 'mom' is. Thankfully, creators Carter and Craig have given the answer, but it isn't quite the one that'll feed everyone's curiosity.

"We have it worked out," says Bays in an interview with E! Online.

"We kind of know what the endgame of the series is. It's obvious this show is around one central question, so that meeting will be part of the endgame of the show. How much the show will go beyond that, we can't really say one way or the other." added Bays.

Still with no straight answer as to how and when, the other big question that's palying around HIMYM fans is who'd be playing the legen- , wait for it, -dary mom?

"There's one school of thought where she turns around and it's Jennifer Aniston, some huge star. Or you might want someone you've never seen before," shares Bays. Again fans are left with a shady answer and it's up to their imaginations as to who'd it be.

If it does happen to be Jennifer Aniston then that would make one of the HIMYM stars a really happy camper. Alyson Hannigan shared her joy and excitement about rumors of Aniston jumping in on the bandwagon last January 7 during the sitcoms 100th episode celebration.

"How I Met Your Mother" is still motherless and right now Hannigan has to settle for actresses Amanda Peet and country singer and songwriter Carrie Underwood. Both stars are said to appear in a few upcoming episodes in the show.
