Fans had been in great anticipation for Jennifer Aniston's and Justin Theroux wedding. After all, there had been reports that the two had already 'secretly' held a matrimonial ceremony in an intimate gathering at their mansion in Bel Air. Also, there had been reports that Jen had already chosen a Valentino wedding dress and that the couple chose to have the ceremony in Hawaii.

As fans all knew, preparations were already in full blast.

But, new reports from People magazine (available on racks Friday) said that the much awaited wedding was put on hold.

According to People magazine, they were able to talk with some sources, close both to Jen and Justin, all confirming that the wedding was postponed due to some erratic reasons.

According to the source, "Wedding bands were designed and Jen was deciding on a dress." Jen even had a date in mind.

However, the special day needed to be postponed because the couples were "overloaded with work commitments and massive house renovations." For this reason, wedding plans has stopped according to the sources.

Both Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux nodded to various movie projects piled up this year on top of their lucrative $21 million renovations being done at their Bel Air mansion.

Another source said that the couple had other priorities that they think would just ruin the day if they push through with it. "They need to figure out a way to create a life that makes them both happy."

But the source clarified that "Jen cannot wait to be Justin's wife."

Another source who had been interviewed by Daily Mail Online said that, "There's a slight chance they'll do something very small in next few months but Justin has told friends they may now just wait until their annual Christmas party and turn that into a wedding at home in Los Angeles."

Justin Theroux said through US Weekly that Jen had been stressed out with all activities piled up before them, "She has been cranky from this stress. I have never seen her like this."

This was not the first time that the Jen-Justin wedding was stalled.

In May, the couple delayed their wedding to steer clear of the possibility that it will happen during the same period of Jen's ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's wedding. According to an interview with a source by US Weekly, "She does not want her day associated with them."

Meanwhile, as much as the wedding was postponed for a later date, there had been rumors that Jen had already taken names out from their guest list.

In previous reports from Hollywood Life, Jennifer Aniston confirmed that her mom, Nancy Dow, is never invited, again, to her wedding just like with her previous wedding with ex-husband Brad Pitt.

A source told Hollywood Life that "Jennifer is scared that her Mom will talk to the media after the wedding and she does not want to deal with that headache. The strained relationship between the two is legit and Jen does not want people at the wedding that will take away from the big day."

Sadly, the cast of Friends had also confirmed that they are not attending, "as they don't want it to take away from the day and the wedding. They don't want people talking about Friends reunion when it's Jen's day."
