Jennifer Garner Opens About Her Successful Marriage And Family Life
Despite working in half a dozen movies of this year, Jennifer Garner's first priority will always be her family. On the other hand, her 42-year-old husband Ben Affleck also has his hands full with his upcoming project 'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' and the promotional work of another movie 'Gone Girl'.
In an exclusive interview with InStyle magazine, Garner shared details about her husband, family and career. As described in the report, the 42-year-old actress and producer appeared to be in full control of her life. She opened up and gave her insight on how the couple makes time for each other and for their three adorable kids despite their hectic work schedules.
The actress revealed that Affleck had been doing outdoor shoots for most of the time this year, but she completed most of her scenes in 2013. Hence, she has enough time to spend with her kids this year. The actress also gave huge credit to her husband for being extremely thoughtful and flexible with everything concerning their children.
The actress declared that she is first and foremost a wife and a mom before being a career woman. In addition, the actress claimed that she strives to do things in best possible ways. "I'm still wiping a bottom, making three meals a day, dealing with sass-and also trying to work", said the mother of three kids, namely, Violet who is 8, Seraphina who is 5 and Samuel who just turned 2.
The couple also have different unwritten roles as parents. Garner is said to be responsible for food and schoolwork while Affleck serves as the source of fun and laughter for the children. Garner also revealed that their kids enjoy her movies more than Affleck's films. "My kids are always saying," gushes the pretty actress, "'we can't see Argo or Gone Girl. Batman looks too scary. You have to do things we can see!'"
Garner is known for her outstanding work in Pearl Harbor, Catch Me if You Can, Juno and Dallas Buyers Club. She started dating Affleck in mid-2004. The couple then got married in June 2005. The actress was reportedly four months pregnant at the time of her marriage.
