On July 25, the 11th ASTRA Awards in Sydney brought out a parade of the glamorously dressed. Television presenter Jennifer Hawkins who was wardrobe malfunction proof, model Megan Gale, and Kate Peck, MTV Australia VJ led the pack of red carpet winners.

"Project Runway Australia's" Megan Gale and Alex Perry teamed up for a successful red carpet outing. ASTRA Award nominee Megan slipped into an Alex Perry creation that the designer "whipped up in two days." No one could tell as Megan looked fabulous in the one-shoulder sheath. The blush coloured dress featured a sweet, white lace overlay that revealed a glimpse of her midriff. With her gorgeous figure and sassy smile, Megan had no need for jewelry. Instead, gold pumps added a hint of bling to her look.

Jennifer Hawkins was Miss Universe 2004, but on the ASTRA Awards red carpet, she was an intergalactic pageant queen. The 29-year-old "Australia's Next Top Model" host wore a figure-hugging, white Galanni gown with gold accents on the bust. A gold Givenchy clutch, white heels, and a gold cuff complemented the first time ASTRA attendee's perfectly fitted dress.

Those Kate Peck and Russell Brand rumours seem like they were ages ago as the MTV Australia VJ stunned at the ASTRA Awards. The pixie-haired model, with help from her fans, chose an eggplant coloured dress with bold shoulders, an open back, and a sleek fit. The Zhivago gown was one of three looks voters chose from. It was a simple dress, yet very effective. Glittering earrings and a clutch completed Kate Peck's red carpet look.
