If you thought you have seen enough of Jennifer Lawrence in 2013, you might have to think twice this 2014 and beyond because of five new films under her belt, four of which are book adaptations.

The "American Hustle" actress reunites with two-time costar Bradley Cooper in the film "Serena," where she plays the titular character. Cooper, on the other hand, plays the role of her husband George Pemberton.

"Serena" is based on the 2008 book of the same title by Ron Rash. Set in the Depression Era, it tells the story of newlyweds George and Serena Pemberton as they build a timber empire in North Carolina. Things starts to unravel when Serena learns that she cannot have children.

Only a handful are aware that Lawrence and Cooper have been doing this film since 2012, right after "Silver Linings Playbook" and way before "American Hustle." The film took 18 months to finish, due to the meticulous editing required by the film's director Susanne Bier, and will finally be shown in theaters some time in April this year.

Meanwhile, Lawrence is also set to do two more films based on books, the first of which is "The Rules of Inheritance." Not only she will play the role of Claire Bidwell Smith, she will also produce the film directed by Bier.

In her memoir, Smith writes about her journey to self-discovery from the time she learns that both of her parents have cancer until they finally succumbed to the disease.

Finally, Lawrence is also set to star and produce "The Glass Castle," based on the memoir of gossip columnist Jeannette Walls. It tells the story of Walls as she grows up in a 'dysfunctional but vibrant family' in her hometown Virginia.

In an interview with Huffington Post, Lawrence says her mother Karen introduced her to "The Glass Castle." She read the book, and then eventually finds herself talking to Gil Netter, the producer who initially acquired the rights over the book, about co-producing the film adaptation.

Both "The Rules of Inheritance" and "The Glass Castle" have no exact release dates as of the moment, but the former targets a 2014 release while the latter is initially slated for showing in 2015.
