The whirlwind romance of four months between Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence came to an abrupt end. "The Hunger Games" actress had recently cut the cord between her and her rumored boyfriend of past four months.

The split has left the "Coldplay" singer heartbroken and really sad, as told by the Daily Mail. The intensity of martin and his closeness with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow are the main culprits to trigger the breakup. As per sources, Martin was quite intense and wanted to spend every single free minute with the American actress. Apart from that, JLaw, as she is called lovingly by her fans, was also not comfortable with all the buzz surrounding Martin and his family.

She often felt neglected and could not understand the relationship between Martin and Paltrow. It was an odd situation with her which she chose to finally put a stop, a source told to the People. Their much speculated relationship was however, never officially confirmed. "It was really just [Jennifer] having fun and living in the moment, enjoying time with someone she likes," as told to the People. " but [Chris and Gwyneth's] close relationship got to her in the end and she felt like it wasn't worth it."

Chris Martin had recently got separated from his wife of 10 years but was still close to her due to presence of their two kids. The couple was recently spotted having a good time while enjoying their sushi dinner with kids in tow and gave the reflection of a happy family.

On the other hand, Martin's ex Paltrow was quite confident from the start that his fling with JLaw would never work out. Radar Online told that the actress is telling the same to her close friends that since they have a considerable age difference between them as Martin is 37 and JLaw is only 24, she never thought that the relationship is ever going to last.

After splitting from Nichols Hoult, JLaw got close to her crush of teens and was often seen hanging out together. They were spotted on an intimate afternoon date at Wolffer Estate Vineyard where the couple tried to keep the low profile. America's current sweetheart was also seen a couple of times at the concerts where Martin was due to perform. She used to completely enjoy his show and even lip synced together every song.
