This time, the "Hunger Games" star donned a chic look in a Stella McCartney off-shoulder pant suit at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival to recover from the embarrassing fashion moment

Jennifer Lawrence accepted the "Most Outstanding Performer of the Year" award at the prestigious event for her critically-acclaimed films "Silver Linings Playbook" and "The Hunger Games." The 22-year-old actress even described the whole awarding season as an exhausting honor.

"It's exhausting and an honor. It's an exhausting honor," Lawrence stated on Saturday night at the Arlington Theater red carpet. At the event, Jennifer Lawrence won the hearts of the audience with her charming, funny and humble traits.

During an interview with festival director Roger Durling, Jennifer Lawrence talked about her acting career and her sudden rise to fame in Hollywood. "I had never really thought of acting growing up. It was never really a possibility. Now looking back at it, I know that I was an actress since birth. Dressing up in different outfits. And I'd introduce myself as Lucille Ball. So now it's starting to make sense," Lawrence revealed.

In 2010, Jennifer earned her first nomination at the Academy Awards with her performance in "Winter's Bone." She was further recognized as an A-list celebrity when she accepted the role of Katniss Everdeen in the successful "The Hunger Games" film.

"It's really rare that saying 'yes' to something will completely change your life. I was happy with my life. And I always had this imaginary future where I'd be a soccer mom. It just didn't fit with taking on a giant franchise," the actress shared.

Jennifer Lawrence further revealed in the interview that it is a great feeling to become a role model that millions of people look up to. "Fortunately, I don't have a secret life I have to worry about getting out, so I can enjoy it," Jennifer said.

Ever since Jennifer Lawrence catapulted to stardom, she has been swamped with a very busy schedule of guest appearances that either promote her films or accept an award.
