Jennifer Lawrence Signed For a Cameo in The Much Awaited Sequel to 'Dumb and Dumber’ l
Oscar Winning actress Jennifer Lawrence will play a cameo in the much awaited "Dumb and Dumber" sequel, it has been revealed. The 23-year-old has been roped in to play a younger version of Kathleen Turner's character, Fraida Felcher.
You will be surprised to know that the "Silver Linings Playbook" actress has already shot her part and it only took her one day to do so. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lawrence visited the "Dumb and Dumber's " Atlanta set during a break from filming "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay," which is close by.
The sequel of "Dumb and Dumber" will retain original characters Harry (Jeff Daniels) and Lloyd (Jim Carrey) alongside co-stars Rob Riggle, Rachel Melvin and Laurie Holden. Harry and Lloyd will be seen embarking upon a road trip to find the former's long lost daughter.

The first part of the movie was released in 1994 and had the lead characters Harry and Lloyd doing the cross-country trek as they attempt to return a briefcase full of money to its owner. The success of Dumb and Dumber" helped the director Farrelly brothers catapult their career. The movie can also be credited for helping Jim Carrey advance his career as a comedian. The movie spawned an animated TV series, a 2003 prequel. The sequel is expected to be released in 2014.
Jennifer Lawrence has her hands full when it comes to movies. She has be "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," all ready to hit theatres on November 22. The actress will also be seen in Susanne Bier drama "Serena" opposite her "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star Bradley Cooper, David O. Russell's star-studded "American Hustle" (also co-starring Cooper) and Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
Lawrence will also be seen in the role of Cathy Ames in the upcoming two-part adaptation of John Steinbeck's "East of Eden."
