"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" star Jennifer Lawrence has a lot of competition when it comes to film franchises these days. Lily Collins of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones," a rising style star, is on a bid to rule the red carpet with her impressive shoe closet!

Lily Collins has a lot of catching up to do as Jennifer Lawrence's pre and post "Hunger Games" career has taken her to many a red carpet, be it film premieres for her critically acclaimed projects, or awards shows. But if there's one arena that Jennifer and Lily can go head-to-head where style is concerned, it's Comic Con.

In July of 2013, both stars got their shoes in shining condition for Comic Con in San Diego. Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower, along with their "Mortal Instruments" co-actors, got their wardrobes ready to promote the movie. Jennifer Lawrence did double duty, attending panels for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." Jennifer's Nicholas Kirkwood lace booties looked fabulous, but not with her ultra-modern outfit. She did ace her next one, as her aqua Nicholas Kirkwood pair complemented her white Alexander McQueen dress perfectly.

As for Lily Collins's Comic Con shoes, the 24-year-old stood out in her printed cropped top and shorts, but fell short with her lackluster Brian Atwood "Hamper" pump in basic black.

Lily isn't the only one guilty of resorting to pumps. Jennifer Lawrence wore a Brian Atwood pair to wear on her most memorable awards show yet - the 2013 Oscars. The pumps were barely seen thanks to Jennifer's magnificent Christian Dior Haute Couture gown. It looks like it played a big role though, as Jennifer tripped on her way to the stage to receive her Best Actress win!

Jennifer Lawrence and Lily Collins also went head-to-head at the 2013 Met Gala. Jennifer completely ignored the punk theme and went full-on fifties glam with her Christian Dior frock and swoon-worthy floral embellished Brian Atwood ankle-strap heels. Sadly, Lily's shoes were concealed by her very punk, floor-length Moschino gown.

Thankfully Lily Collins's shoe closet has an answer to Jennifer's more adventurous pairs. In August, she rocked an olive green Casadei ankle-strap shoe with her sexy Versace dress, and then did a Jennifer Lawrence by wearing lace Jimmy Choo pumps with a white frock.

Lily Collins's "Mortal Instruments" duties have a way to go yet, so who knows what shoes she has yet to debut? The actress is also gaining steam by choosing more sandals, and even thigh-high Louboutin boots on one occasion. But, with more variety and colour, Jennifer Lawrence's shoes win this round.
