Jennifer Lawrence arrives for the world premiere of "The Hunger Games : Catching Fire" in London

Jennifer Lawrence attends the world Premiere of 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' wearing a sequined white dress by Dior and her new pixie cut brushed upwards.

Despite the cold weather outside the Leicester Square in London, the 23-year-old actress wore a white backless dress with colored sequins all around its skirt. She finished off her look with navy blue d'orsay pumps by Kurt Geiger, smokey eyes and her pixie-cut hair slicked upwards. But prior to her red carpet walk, she was seen wearing a red coat, apparently to cover up from the chilly air and to briefly conceal her dress.

Various fashion sites laud her bravery to wear a backless number despite the cold London air. Hollywood Life admired the back drapery which the new face of Miss Dior showed off beautifully. In addition to her look that best fits the occasion, "her beaming smile was her best accessory."

E! Online, on the other hand, took notice of her hair which she had cut into a pixie just a few weeks ago. Cinya Burton says that her hair has looks "slightly more sophisticated than the tousled style she sported at the AFI Fest 2013 in Hollywood just three days earlier."

The Daily Mail's Hanna Flint and Jason Chester, however, thought that the cut of the dress did little to accentuate Jennifer's youthful figure, while the embellished pattern covering its half resembled the messy aftermath of explosion in a Smarties factory."

Meanwhile, Lawrence talks about the fabulous costumes she gets to wear on the set of the movie as Katniss. "It really is incredible to see. We have such a talented costume designer," she said during the live stream interview.

Lawrence also talks about her joy in playing a strong female character like Katniss, saying "It's really exciting, we don't see a lot of females in positions like this hero part that Katniss [Everdeen] is."
