Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence shows the world she can do no wrong as she lifts up her middle finger at the press room to the amusement of the media present.

Maybe it was not an entirely appropriate gesture, but Lawrence had the press in stitches and eating at the palm of her hand when she showed up after winning the coveted Best Actress award.

Known for her sense of humor in interviews, the Silver Linings Playbook star once again had her audience laughing as she admitted to downing an alcoholic drink to calm her nerves before facing the press.

"I'm sorry, I did a shot before," she confessed to explain her bizarre behavior.

When a journalist asked the actress what was on her mind, she blurted out without hesitation, "A bad word that I can't say that starts with F."

This was probably due to her unfortunate blunder at the awards show, when she tripped on her spectacular Dior gown on the way to the stage. Lawrence need not worry too much about the incident though. Not only were Hollywood hunks Bradley Cooper and Hugh Jackman on hand to help her get up, but she got a standing ovation from the prestigious crowd.

Needless to say, all of Tinsel Town is behind this beautiful blonde. It is clear that peers, press and audience are all smitten with her charm and candor.

During an interview with Good Morning America, Lawrence was left starstruck when a famous supporter Jack Nicholson popped in to offer his congratulations.

"I loved you in the movie," the two-time Oscar winner told the actress who was left shocked and delighted as Nicholson walked away.

"This is my life now," Lawrence said with a laugh after rubbing elbows with the likes of Nicholson, Hathaway and Jennifer Garner.
