Jennifer Lopez Dating Kate Upton's Ex Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Just about almost a week after calling it quits with Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez is reportedly dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Has J. Lo moved on so quickly? J. Lo and Casper reportedly parted ways six weeks ago but it has only been recently that the general public was made aware of the duo's breakup.

According to a report by the New York Daily News, J. Lo is dating Maksim, the Ukrainian dancer who had a brief relationship with Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton and who also appears in the hit reality dancing TV show "Dancing With the Stars." Sources who refused to be identified revealed to the news outlet that J. Lo and Maksim are an indeed "item."

"It's really new," the source uttered.

J. Lo and Maksim worked together when the Latina singer performed in the American Music Awards in 2013. Sources stated that there were already "sparks" between the two, but they were still engulfed in their respective relationships back then. The news outlet further alleged that J. Lo and Maksim will be seen together more often now that the sexy mother-of-two is officially single and when they are no longer busy with their own work commitments. J. Lo is expected to perform in the opening ceremony of the 2014 World Cup at all, while Maksim is in India to appear as a judge in the Indian version of "Dancing With the Stars."

However, Gossip Cop refuted the recent report and stated that J. Lo and Maksim aren't dating. Apparently, the rumour about J. Lo dating Maksim first made headlines in April but Gossip Cop was quick to prove the story false.

"This rumour wasn't true when Gossip Cop busted it in April. It's not true now."

An informer divulges the real score between J. Lo and Maksim and said, "They are friends," and nothing more.
