The "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" franchise is making a comeback. Jennifer Lopez has been reported to be producing the new movie, once optioned by Disney with Sandra Bullock as the world-famous, crimson-clad, femme fatale thief.

Also producing with Lopez are her partners, Benny Medina and Simon Fields, as well as Nick Osbourne, Trevor Engelson and Devin Andre who are all with Underground Films.

The team will be working closely with Walden Media, a group that specializes in interactive gaming for children. The media franchise, which originally started as a game in 1985, was such a huge hit that it inspired various game shows from 1991 through 1995.

Though the premise of the game was to teach students about geography and history, it eventually branched out to include math and English as well. The educational game that was such a hit in the 80's is still being used as a teaching tool for elementary students nationwide.

Lopez has been flying low on the radar since her divorce from her latest ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony. The couple announced their divorce July of this year as soon as "American Idol" stopped showing. The two have been married for seven years and have twins. Perhaps these twins are the reason for Lopez's involvement in the project?

The "On the Floor" singer also was spotted with "Hangover" star Bradley Cooper a short time ago at Per Se, a posh New York restaurant. When asked if they were dating, Lopez replied that she and Cooper were actually in talks for a project. Could it be this very endeavour or another romantic comedy, as the media mogul is wont to do? Whatever it is, fans are on their toes about the Carmen San Diego deal as whatever Lopez does usually turns to gold.
