Jensen Ackles vs. Misha Collins: Online Poll Asks 'Supernatural' Fans to Vote for the 2014 Alpha Male Madness Winner
"Supernatural" fans can forget for a moment the conflict between the Winchester brothers and have a look at the battle between Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and angel Castiel (Misha Collins). The fight between actors Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins will not be in the CW TV series' episodes but on the online poll that asked the fans to vote for the 2014 Alpha Male Madness.
The "Supernatural" stars gave fans the hard decision of choosing who should advance in the E!Online 2014 Alpha Male Madness poll that closed last Wednesday, April 9, at 5 pm PT. The entertainment Web site reports that the four contestants fighting in poll to advance to the final two are all CW stars.
"Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins are going up against each other and the match-up is basically every Supernatural fan's worst nightmare, while Beauty and the Beast's Jay Ryan and Reign's Toby Regbo are also duking it out," the E!Online TV Scoop report reads.
The news about the online poll reached "Supernatural" cast member Misha Collins and the 39-year-old actor gave his reaction on his Twitter account @mishacollins. Mr Collins even shared an image to his followers that show a side-by-side comparison of himself and co-star Jensen Ackles.

The E!Online results revealed that Jensen Ackles advanced the competition with 56.14% votes while Misha Collins received 43.86%. As for "Beauty and the Beast" star Jay Ryan, the actor garnered 57.30% vote while Toby Regbo of "Reign" received 42.70% votes.
In the meantime, fans can catch Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins in "Supernatural" Season 9 that returned with Episode 18 titled "Meta Fiction" on Tuesday night, April 15, where Castiel and the Winchester brothers crossed paths again while dealing with the issues against fallen angels. Fans will continue to see the "Supernatural" gang back in action after the long hiatus with Episode 19 titled "Alex Annie Alexis Ann" on April 22, 2014.
The brand new episode will bring back the familiar face of character Sheriff Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes) as she works again with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) as they deal with a family of vampires. "Supernatural" Season 9 airs Tuesday nights at 9 pm ET on the CW Network.
