Jeremy Lin is aware that his time in Houston is about to end anytime. With the Houston Rockets pushing hard in the pursuit for a third superstar, Lin is an absolute goner in red uniform.

Despite his forthcoming trade, thing should look bright for Lin and his future. One reason to rejoice about his upcoming departure from Houston is the opportunity to restart his career anew after a rough two seasons with the James Harden-centered Rockets.

Three years ago, Lin was supposed to be the primary playmaker for the Rockets but Harden encroached his duty and forever put him in awkward spot on the floor. Now, Lin has a chance to reinvent himself, trying to revive the mojo that ignited the fire of Linsanity.

Destination for Lin

There are two rumored destinations so far for Lin. The first is the Philadelphia 76ers, which are expected to tank away the upcoming season after selecting players (Joel Embiid & Darko Saric) who are not yet ready to contribute immediately.

With the Sixers, many analysts expect Lin to pad up his numbers from last season(12 points and 4 dimes per game) because of the Sixers' past-paced offense. Michael Carter-Williams will still be the starter of the team, but Lin will get more playing time as well because of his ability to play both the point guard and off-guard role.

Moreover, head coach Brett Brown likes to use point guard who runs a lot of pick-and-roll plays. Lin has been a terrific pick-and-roll player, either as a disher or a scorer.

The second option for him is the Milwaukee Bucks - a team that selected Jabbari Parker at no.2 overall and tapped Jason Kidd as their next head coach.

The Bucks have a plethora of young talents such as Brandon Knight, OJ Mayo, John Henson, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Parker, but this team clearly lacks leadership that Lin could bring to the table.

Moreover, Kidd previously expressed his intention to mentor Lin, and he could now have a chance to nurture his talent by turning him into a complete player.

Lin's pick-and-roll ability will be potent in Milwaukee as well, because of the presence of athletic big men that could attack the rim off a lob. Lin proved he can be an effective passer during his time with the NY Knicks and the Rockets.
