Jeremy Renner-Sonni Pacheco Split: Couple To Fight For The Custody Of Their Daughter
Oscar nominated actor Jeremy Renner has pulled the plug on his marriage with wife Sonni Pacheco. The estranged couple, who tied the knot in a quiet ceremony last year, have cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce. Sonni has reportedly filed the papers in court to end the marriage and she has also asked for the physical custody of their daughter, Ava Berlin.
The Canadian model has reportedly demanded that Jeremy should return her passport, her birth certificate and social security card. She has claimed that her passport was stolen, according to People. She has also requested that the prenup should be annulled on the basis of fraud and she should be allowed to use Renner's car, Ranger Rover. She also wants the actor to bear her moving expense and rent. The couple's marriage has reportedly been on the rocks for a long time. "Jeremy wanted out of the marriage almost as soon as he got into it. He wanted to make sure Ava had a solid family unit and tried to make it work," a source revealed to E Online. It has also been reported that the couple had compatibility issues.
Both of them will reportedly fight for the custody of their daughter. Jeremy reportedly does not want Ava to get affected by his divorce. He wants her "primary custody." Jeremy and Sonni got married in a secret ceremony and their date of marriage is still unknown. The actor reportedly wanted to keep his married life under wraps. He previously told Capitol File magazine that he doesn't like the idea of being followed when he is with his family. He reportedly did not want his wife to come under media scrutiny. Privacy is the main concern for the actor and he does not want his family to be bothered because of his star status.
Meanwhile, the actor who rose to fame with the Oscar winning film "The Hurt Locker," will be next seen in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron." He plays the role of Clint Barton/Hawkeye in the film. He is also filming for the fifth instalment of "Mission: Impossible," where he will be seen playing William Brandt.
