As Hollywood mourns the loss of Robin Williams, one of his colleagues in the movie industry remembered how his influence had helped her financially.

Two-time Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain recently opened up about her gratitude to the actor. When news of the comedian's death was broadcasted on Monday, ET reports the "Zero Dark Thirty" actress also revealed on her Facebook page how Robin Williams had helped shaped her career in acting.

"Robin Williams changed my life," she wrote.

The actress claimed that not only was he a great actor but he was also a generous person.

Apparently, the late Robin Williams paid for Jessica Chastain's way through Juilliard. She wrote that the comedian made it possible for her to graduate from college through a scholarship.

PerezHilton adds the scholarship allowed the actress to enter the prestigious college in New York. It also paid for her books and paved way for her to travel to see her family.

ET reports Jessica Chastain graduated from Juilliard in 2003 with a BFA in drama.

This is not the first time the actress has talked about her Juilliard years and Robin Williams generosity. She previously told actor Michael Shannon how she got the scholarship in Interview Magazine.

"I'm the first person in my family to go to college. We didn't have a lot of money, and Juilliard is a pretty expensive school," she told Shannon.

"Robin Williams is a very generous Juilliard alumnus, and gives a scholarship every two years to a student, and it pays for everything, and I got it," she added.

Although the 37-year-old actress was not able to thank her benefactor personally, she wrote on her Facebook page that Robin Williams "spirit will forever inspire" her to give her support to others as he had supported her. She claimed the actor will "forever be missed."

Apparently, the Juilliard community is also saddened but also thankful for the late actor's contribution to the school. The community released a statement to ET on Tuesday remembering the comedian as a "generous supporter of the school's drama students through the Robin Williams Scholarship."
