Jessica Simpson: Thinking of Playdates for Daughter Maxwell and Nick Lachey’s Baby?
Jessica Simpson reportedly plans to propose a playdate to ex-husband Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa Minnillo. Post-pregnancy whims?
The National Enquirer recently reported Simpson has become "giddy with love" since giving birth. One of the ideas floating in her head is to see to it that her child and her ex-hubby's child to grow up together, according to NE's source.
"Being a new mom has made Jessica giddy with love and wanting to share that feeling with the whole world... She and Nick have had their ups and downs since their divorce, and Jessica and Vanessa have sniped at each other for years. But for Jessica, that's all water under the bridge. She'd love for her daughter and Nick's child to grow up together. She's even called him and Vanessa to tell them so," NE's source said.
Whether true or not, that idea will have to wait as Jessica dives into preparations for two major events happening this year. The first event is baptismal for her baby Maxwell, who was born on May 1. The second event is her wedding to her fiancée, former NFL player Eric Johnson.
Simpson and Johnson were reportedly supposed to wed last year, but after learning baby Maxwell was coming, their plans had changed. Now they are reportedly getting back on track, or the aisle, so to speak.
"Jessica and Eric are eyeing the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends," said a source who spoke to Life & Style magazine.
Life & Style also reported the couple has hired celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss for both grand events.
Jessica Simpson's hands are full now. She may or may not be dreaming for her daughter to be BFF's with her ex-husband's child. But all that matters is that she and baby are doing fine after that very, very long pregnancy.
