Jessie J to make a comeback on ‘The Voice Australia’ in its next season
Singer Jessie J will reprise her term as a judge in “The Voice Australia” in 2016. Jessie was brought on board to adorn the judges’ panel in the fourth season of “The Voice Australia” that was premiered on June 28.
News.com.au was confirmed by the sources of Nine Network that the "Thunder" singer will make a comeback to the show with its fifth season next year. The 27-year old singer’s very first stint at “The Voice Australia” turned out to be a huge hit as it was her team member Ellie Drennan, who went on to win the show.
Just after the finale of the show, the pop artist told News.com.au that she was not sure about adorning the big red chair for the next season but did not even deny the possibility.
“I don’t know yet. Undecided, who knows,” Jessie told the website. Jessie was known for her blunt comments and usual disagreements will fellow judges of the show and this probably churned out massive TRPs for the fourth season of “The Voice Australia.” She was seen co-judging the show along side Ricky Martin, Delta Goodrem and The Madden Brothers.
The singer was brought on the show as a replacement to Kylie Minogue who co-judged the third season of the "The Voice Australia." According to News.com.au, Jessie was offered over $420,000 per series for her two season stint on “The Voice UK,” thus, the deal for “The Voice Australia” can be expected to fetch the same amount or more.
Kylie Minogue, Keith Urban, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Demi Lovato and Jessica Mauboy are some other names in the list of probable judges of “The Voice Australia” Season five, according to the website. However, nothing yet has been confirmed about other season four judges - Ricky Martin, the Madden brothers and Delta Goodrem. Ricky Martin has been a part of the show since its second season, while, the Madden brothers and Delta Goodrem too have a long history with this Network Nine show.
