Producers of an off-Broadway show claim that they came across the last remaining audio tapes of Joan Rivers just before her death.

The audio clip apparently has the voice of the late comedienne complaining that her voice was bothering her and she doesn't know why. It was also said in the video that she was not feeling good and that she was tired already, reported Page Six.

The producers of the show have claimed that last Sep. 15, they realized that Rivers had made a test recording for her friend Zimmerman. The audio clip has even been posted to YouTube with the title, 'Joan Rivers Last Session.'

The producers claim that the coughing on the audio clip begins with is the reason that she had to go in to Yorkvelle Endoscopy for a procedure to help make her vocal cords alright.

The audio then continues with her talking about Zimmerman waiting tables and trying to make it into showbiz for decades. Her audio goes like this:

"Hi, I'm Joan Rivers, can we talk? About . . . Brad Zimmerman . . . he waited on tables for 29 years -- stupid or what -- before he got up the nerve to write a hilarious show ... Stupid! He's dumber than Heidi Abromowitz! This is terrible copy. Who wrote this crap? I feel sick . . . Anyway, the critics are calling it hilarious, a total must-see and I love him, too. So don't wait 29 years to see my friend."

One of the reps from Zimmerman's show said that Joan had made use of Brad as an opening act during many occasions and when they asked her to do a trial, she immediately agreed. They claimed that the recording was done at home before she was scheduled to go in for the final recording to the studio.

However, Rivers' rep, Katz Judy, denied that the recording was Joan's. She said that the recording was definitely not Joan, not even close. She added that everyone knew Joan's voice and that it was very distinguishable. Katz, favouring Joan, said that she had gone in for a procedure to treat her vocal cords on the Upper East Side last Aug. 28 following that she went into a coma and then passed away.

Joan's rep has also claimed that the recording is a publicity stunt being executed by Brad Zimmerman and his public relations team and was completely disrespectful to Joan.

Beck Lee, Brad's public relations representative admitted that the audio was not authentic and that Brad had nothing to do with it.
