Joel Madden just got home in Los Angeles, California with his wife Nicole Richie and their two kids but the Good Charlotte front man has already revealed his plans of returning to Australia.

"The Voice Australia" judge has been talking non-stop about leaving tinsel town and permanently moving to the land Down Under with his family for good. In the meantime, Joel will only come back in Australia to headline the "Fat As Butter" festival this September together with his brother, Benji Madden.

Joel Madden's Australian fans will be definitely excited with the return of the popular coach from the reality TV show "The Voice" and they will not be waiting that long. According to the "Fat As Butter" official website, Good Charlotte will perform at a local bash that also includes an impressive group of Australian acts such as rapper 360, Grinspoon, Urthboy and Hungry Kids of Hungary. The festival is scheduled to take place in Newcastle on September 22.

The Los Angeles-based singer looks forward to his performance with his pop-punk rock band Good Charlotte at the festival. "Fat As Butter" also offers a particularly '90s music flavor this September with other acts like Wheatus, Eiffel 65 and N-Trance as part of the international line up for the event.

Music fanatics will have the chance to rock and have a good time at the Camp Shortland, The Foreshore, Newcastle. Tickets are scheduled to be on sale this coming June 28.
