Known as a notorious womaniser, John Mayer is up in his game again, this time eyeing "Glee" star Lea Michele. According to a report by Hollywood Life, the "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer is "desperately" trying to hook up with the singer-actress.

The 36-year-old singer is said to have a huge crush on Lea Michele, who is also nine years younger than the musician. Various news sites have reported John Mayer has taken a liking to younger actresses and singers, with Lea Michele as the current apple of his eyes.

"John's had a crush on Lea for a while," a close insider revealed to Star. "John is constantly telling her how beautiful and talented she is," the insider further dished to the publication.

Lea Michele, however, is not really impressed with the soul singer. While she might be flattered with all the attention she has been receiving from John Mayer, the "Glee" star is still wary to date the "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer. It is not a secret that the brunette beauty is still nursing a broken heart after her longtime beau, Cory Monteith, succumbed to an untimely death due to drug toxicity. It has only been about a year since her "Glee" co-star passed away.

"She just wants someone to have fun with," the source continues. "She isn't about to give her heart away to someone like him," adds the source.

John Mayer has earned a rep with the ladies - after dating big names in the industry such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston and recently Katy Perry. John Mayer is definitely no stranger when it comes to the dating department.

While most of his relationships have ended on amicable terms, some of his flings with famous personalities have ended on sour notes. It can be remembered Taylor Swift allegedly wrote the song "Dear John" in response to her breakup with the American crooner.
