The 27-year old beauty Amber Heard and iconic star Johnny Depp are said to be deeply in love-so in love that they are planning to tie the knot in the near future. The two met in the movie "The Rum Diary" where Johnny Depp played the role of Paul Kemp, a trained journalist who takes a job a freelance job in Puerto Rico where he meets the beguiling Chenault (Amber Heard) of whom he develops intimate feelings for.

The budding romance of the two was not only on-screen; rather, the two played the love cards out after taping the movie. Ever since, the two have been inseparable-only in one instance though, when Amber Heard called it quits for some time due to some undisclosed reason. Johnny Depp wooed her back by sending her a bouquet of roses every month, along with a penned poem for the actress.

Lately, the actress had been allegedly seen wearing an engagement ring, supposedly from Johnny Depp. It is rumored that she is to marry the versatile actor, after the press sighting the diamond ring. Heard was, however, quick to cover her hands to hide the ring from the public. During a night out with a girl friend, Heard was seen covering her hand at all costs-presumably to hide her engagement ring from the press.

Meanwhile, many fans were quick to react about the said rumor. Many sympathized with French singer Vanessa Paradis, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor's lover for almost 14 years. She was allegedly hurt by the actor's decision to pop the question to his recent girlfriend, Heard. Paradis and Depp have two children together, Lily Rose, 14 and Jack, 11. All throughout the 14 year relationship, the two kept it low-where Depp never bothered to ask the mother of his kids to settle down after marriage.

Meanwhile, Heard also had her fair share of long-term relationships. Before Depp, she dated photographer Tasya van Ree. Heard came out as bisexual during her ex-girlfriend's Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation's 25th Anniversary.
