Hollywood actor Johnny Depp could pass up for a new member of the legendary rock band Aerosmith.

Last Monday, Aerosmith held a performance for their Global Warming Tour at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles where Johnny Depp decided to join the band onstage for an impromptu jam session. The audience and other celebrity attendees were definitely surprised that Johnny Depp showed to perform on stage.

Aerosmith lead vocalist Steven Tyler paired up with Johnny Depp for the song "Train Kept a Rollin" where the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor is seen rocking out on his guitar as Steven Tyler sings by his side.

This could probably be the first time that Johnny Depp has been officially seen out in public since the announced split from her long-time partner Vanessa Paradis. After the break-up news emerged, the actor has only been busy working on the set of his upcoming film "The Lone Ranger" in the Rocky Mountains.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp appeared to be back in his old ways at the event. The actor decked out on his trademark eye-liner, signature Walker hat, bracelets and skinny scarf along with a smile on his face as he performed with his guitar while Liv Tyler and Jim Carrey watched on.

After the concert, Johnny Depp hung out with Steven Tyler and the rest of the Aerosmith band mates at Harry Morton's Pink Taco in West Hollywood. The 49-year old actor appeared to be in good spirits at the legendary Aerosmith after-show party as he smiled and signed autographs for fans outside of the restaurant.

When Steven Tyler was asked what he feels about the performance, his response clearly indicated that he was more than just happy to be joined on stage by the famous Hollywood actor.

"The best f--king show yet," Tyler shouted while heading to the after party.

Other celebrity guests at the bash included Liv Tyler, Jim Carrey, Seth Green and Lana Del Ray who partied with the rock stars at the venue that Aerosmith booked exclusively for their after-show party. Signature margaritas flowed for Liv Tyler and her sister Mia, Jim Carrey, Seth Green, producer Lawrence Bender, Vincent Gallo, Aaron Paul and members of the band Tokio Hotel.

According to a source, Johnny Depp was feeling very social during the party and the "Dark Shadows" actor left the restaurant at around two o'clock in the morning with a smile on his face.

Aside from acting, Johnny Depp has also been known as a part-time musician. The actor even recently enjoyed a well-received performance with the band Black Keys at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Take a look at the video performance of Aerosmith with Johnny Depp.
