The legendary rocker wowed his intimate "100 Club" crowd when actor Johnny Depp stepped onstage to sing some of his greatest hits.

Rock royalty, Alice Cooper, had a lot in store for his fans during his special gig in London's legendary 100 Club, especially when iconic actor Johnny Depp went on stage. Much to the surprise of Cooper's fans, the rocker announced a special guest then asked the crowd to welcome "the bluesmaster, Mr Johnny D from Kentucky". After Depp hopped onstage, the two sang Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall and Cooper's hit School's Out. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor joined the long-haired rocker 12 songs into his 75-minute set.

According to those who witnessed the rare event, Depp played well into the songs. "Depp's was the fourth guitar in a lineup that already had three, so in truth he did not make a huge difference to the sound, but there were no audible disgraces in his contribution" says a fan to The Guardian. A post by Sydney Morning Herald claims Cooper even joked the actor "I think we could use another guitar player, right? Johnny, this whole movie thing, if it doesn't pan out, join us, okay?"

Depp is no stranger to rock and roll, with his past guitar and vocal stints for various chart-topping bands. In 1997, he sang alongside Oasis for their song Fade In-Out, and formed close ties with Red Hot Chili Peppers John Frusciante. The actor also formed a band called "P" with members from famous groups such as Butthole Surfers, Sex Pistols and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The actor also previously owned the popular Los Angeles rock club The Viper Room until 2004.
