Johnny Depp recently splurged on a portrait of Duchess Kate Middleton by street artist Pegasus and asked to have another painted. The second painting would be a nude pregnant Kate Middleton.

Daily Star UK reports that Johnny Depp just paid a five-figure amount for a portrait of the currently pregnant Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife, by the street artist Pegasus. He also put down an offer for a second painting. This time, the actor wants Kate with her baby bump, naked. The actor, 51, went to the opening of the street artist’s gallery on Caledonian Road in Islington on Sunday night, Dec. 7, and got the expensive portrait of the Duchess, as well as an additional £25,000 on a portrait of the Queen. The actor is said to be a huge fan of the artist’s work.

Currently in London shooting “Alice in Wonderland,” the actor is said to have charmed the street artist and his manager. “I knew Johnny was coming and wanted the two Kate Middleton works,” the artist’s manager Leonard Villa told Daily Star. "He was extremely charming and immediately bought the painting and put down an offer for the second one,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Pirates of the Caribbean star is being mocked for for the slew of recent films he starred in but flopped, such as “The Lone Ranger,” “Dark Shadows” and “Transcendence.” This, however, is not a problem for the actor, unlike other great actors and actresses who would bemoan the collapse of their careers. He said people can be sad about losing something or just live, and he’s choosing the latter. He added that he’s at the stage where he does not care anymore. For him, not caring gives him more opportunities to do better, because it could be liberating. He’s reportedly now ready to try anything.

The actor’s movie portfolio is soon expanding more with upcoming films such as "Mortdecai," "Black Mass" and "Alice In Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass." Fans can catch him soon playing the Big Bad Wolf in the dark and yet humourous musical movie “Into the Woods,” out in theaters on Christmas Day.
