Notwithstanding the speculations that Johnny Depp and his fiancé Amber Heard are headed for a split last month, the two are said to be growing strong. The "Pirates of Caribbean" actor himself had many good words to describe his fiancé and is said to be already planning a New Year's Eve wedding.
In an interview with OK magazine, Johnny Depp claimed that his blonde girlfriend is lethal, in a good way. Depp said: "She's a strong, brilliant woman who has a lot to say. That combination is pretty devastating." The actor added that it is interesting to find himself wanting to dedicate his life to one person, and love this person as he loves his children. He credits this to growing wiser as he grows older.
Apart from expressing his amazement and love for his fiancé, Depp also opened up about his tumultuous childhood. He said that his parents fought a lot and it made his childhood "hellish." To cope, he made of use of his musical talents. His guitar was his best friend and he had his own band. When the band broke up, acting came in and the rest is history. Despite his success, Johnny Depp says he is still a shy and wary person. He explained that this has a lot to do with his challenging childhood. You grow up damaged and broken and then have some success, but you don't know how to feel good about it," he said. The actor claimed his success in life is pure luck. He said that he was able to "straightened" himself out and in the end, led a good life despite his unfortunate childhood years.
Despite rumors of their impending split, there were already reports, including Mail Online UK that the two would choose New Year's Eve as the date of their wedding. According to Mail Online UK, Johnny Depp is already planning a New Year's Eve wedding but would disguise it only as New Year's party. The report also went ahead to say that close friends and family of the actor already received invitations to the said glittery evening, such as Steven Tyler, Marilyn Manson, Helena Bonham Carter and her partner Tim Burton.
