After celebrating Thanksgiving in Australia, Angelina Jolie together with her six children - Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 5 -- are leaving Australia for the holidays and plans to spend Christmas with Brad Pitt. The 38-year-old actress was spotted in Sydney airport boarding a private jet, on Friday, Dec. 20, as she tows her children wearing a black top with a matching coat.

Jolie has been busy directing her film "Unbroken" in Australia while her fiancé, who just turned 50 on Dec. 18, is stuck filming "Fury" in London. The actress is looked skinny in an all-black ensemble and kept her children close by as they boarded the plane one by one.

Brad is waiting for his family in London and will celebrate his birthday with his children. According to a source by the Daily News," Pitt doesn't want any surprises and not doing anything for his birthday but he is planning to spend the weekend with his family."

"He's not doing anything for it and he said he doesn't want any surprises," added the source. "He really doesn't want to talk about his birthday much."

As for Jolie, the actress recently won the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles early November where she shared it with her mother. The award highlighted her work as the co-founder of the Prevent Sexual Violence Initiative and her active involvement in the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

While shooting her film, Jolie has been keen to immerse her kids in Australian culture and has made sure that her children are living like the locals by letting them try traditional foods including kangaroo and witchetty grubs - an Aussie term fo white moth larvae.

According to reports by the Daily Mail, "Whenever they are in new countries the kids have a rule about trying local food. The tour guide took them to a specialist Aussie restaurant and they had a mix of kangaroo and emu on a pizza."
