Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel has issued an apology for allegedly delaying a New York flight last week. Duhamel was escorted off the plane, following the incident.

According to reports, Josh Duhamel was asked to get off the plane after he repeatedly ignored the flight attendant's request to switch off his Blackberry as the plane was about to take off.

The husband of Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie was allegedly "very rude" towards the flights crew. He reportedly taunted the attendant, and laughed at the male flight crew.

The attendant then reported the incident to airport security. Due to the incident involving Duhamel, the flight had to go back to the departure gate. Duhamel was then escorted off from the plane. The incident delayed the flight further, much to the annoyace of Josh's fellow passengers.

Duhammel's representatives confirmed that the incident took place and admitted that Josh has been texting about his flight being delayed. Duhammel was "sorry" about the incident, according to the actor's representative.

Josh Duhamel was last seen in the movie Life As We Know It opposite former Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl. He rose to fame starring in the mega hit Transformers franchise with Megan Fox and Shia LeBeouf. He will reprise his role in the franchise with the 2011 film Dark of the Moon.
