Love couldn’t really be always sweeter, the second time around. And that has been proven again, by celebrity couple, Jude Law and Sienna Miller. They failed to make it work this time, amid wedding rumors as a spokesman confirmed their split weeks ago.

A little over a year ago, the two rekindled their affection and vowed to make it right this time, when they hooked up again in December 2009, almost four years after they broke up in 2005.

They even bought a ‘love nest’ in London, in the reported amount of a staggering £8-million, says The Daily Mail. The joint property was purchased amid rumors that they are planning to tie the knot, and there was no stopping them this time.

Jude Law first proposed to Sienna Miller in December 2004 but he failed to walk her at the church. Their split back then sprung from the news that Law cheated on his fiancée by having an affair with his own nanny in mid-2005.

They both lived tumultuous and interesting but separate love lives, with both reportedly moved on, having been seen going out with other people. Until they went back to each other’s arms in December 2009. Their friends and their fans thought they will pull through for their second try. Much to everyone’s chagrin.

'I can confirm that Jude Law and Sienna Miller are no longer in a relationship,' a spokesman was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

A friend of the couple asserted that it was decision they both made. The unidentified friend was quoted telling America’s People magazine as saying: 'It is mutual and amicable and they are still friends.'

'It was an entirely and end-of-the relationship decision,' the insider said, according to the Daily Mail. 'It had run its course'.
