Judge Mitchel Beckoff ordered over the weekend a probate court investigator to make a report on the health, welfare and education of Paris Jackson after the suicide attempt of Michael Jackson's daughter, which reports said is not her first.

The judge is the same one who appointed the kid's grandmother, Katherine Jackson, as guardian for Paris, Prince and Blanket Jackson after their father died at the age of 50 in 2009 due to overdose of the anaesthesia propofol.

Paris cut her arm with a meat cleaver and took in a large amount of Motrin at their residence in Calabasas on Wednesday. Observers believe Paris, 15, did not intentionally kill herself but only wanted attention.

One theory being placed forward by observers of the Jackson family is that Paris is reacting to the big change in her life since her famous father died and she and her two siblings were placed under the custody of their grandmother.

As a single parent, Michael homeschooled his kids and prevented them from social contact with the world because he wanted them to be spared the difficult time he experienced as a kid who grew up under the klieg lights.

However, all that was reversed when he died in 2009. From a very limited world made up of Michael, her brothers and the household staff, Paris was likely culture shocked by having so many new people such as classmates and friends in her young life when she transferred to an elite private school in California.

"Let's be honest, she is a member of one of the most famous black families in the world and she doesn't look black at all. Can you understand the level of confusion that causes a young girl? Who could she talk to about that? Her 83-year-old grandmother, La Toya or Tito? They don't have answers for that. I'm not sure Michael did," The Daily Beast quoted a Jackson family friend.

Besides the racial identity question, Paris also had to deal with a number of Jackson relatives whom Michael cut off after his solo career skyrocketed with the success of Thriller.

The disconnection was mainly on financial matters as the rest of the Jackson were not as successful as Michael, who once formed the group Jackson 5.

The family friend added that Paris was seeking more female friends her age, which explains why she posed makeup videos before her alleged suicide try.

To add more stress to Paris and her siblings is a lawsuit her grandmother filed against the London concert producer of Michael, which would likely require court testimonies from the young Jacksons. There is also the possibility that Jackson's past sexual molestation cases would be resurrected by AEG, the concert producer.
