Julie Goodwin thought Logie nomination ‘a bit weird’
The celebrity chef emphasized that her life goes in the same direction it has before the cooking show. But quick to point out that she is happy with the opportunities that have come her way.
First MasterChef winner Julie Goodwin has admitted that the Logie nomination was equally ‘weird’ as it was ‘exciting’. Goodwin was nominated for the best new talent category but thought went home without a logie has remained in high spirit after the event Sunday.
“It’s very exciting though although I didn’t think I would win,” Goodwin was quoted as saying by Express Advocate.
The celebrity chef emphasized that her life goes in the same direction it has before the cooking show. But quick to point out that she is happy with the opportunities that have come her way.
She said she has kept embracing the important things in her life.
“All the important stuff is still what it was before the show - my husband, the children - it’s just what I do now is different to what I did before and I love what I do,” Goodwin said, according to Express advocate.
She added: “I’m really grateful for all the opportunities that have come with it.”
Goodwin said that her second book has also taken much of her time these days, noting that it will soon be released in the market.
“I’ve just finished my second book, the Heart of the Home, which is coming out in October,” the celebrity was quoted as saying by Express Advocate. “And my first book is being released in paperback on Sunday which is great.”
