'Jupiter Ascending' New Action Packed Trailer Hints At More Romance [Watch Video]
A new trailer of the upcoming movie "Jupiter Ascending" shows more action sequences from the movie. It also shows a scene that features Mila Kunis connecting with Channing Tatum, who plays her saviour and bodyguard in the movie. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]
"Jupiter Ascending" is a new movie from the creators of the "Matrix" trilogy. The trailers of the movie show exciting visual effects that movie buffs can expect. A new trailer of the movie explains the reason why Earth is in danger from an alien corporation.
In the movie, life on Earth did not begin naturally. The planet was seeded by an alien corporation that is run by a royal house, and a member of the royalty has the right to harvest Earth for his own profit. Jupiter Jones, played by Mila Kunis, is the one person who can save Earth.
Jupiter Jones is an ordinary person living a mediocre life in the U.S. Her job is to clean other people's houses. But when an alien called Caine comes looking for her, she realises she is destined for great things. She has the exact same genes in the exact same order of a previous member of the royal family. This makes Jupiter royalty, too.
But the young woman will have enemies in "Jupiter Ascending." There are three other heirs in the movie, and the oldest is Balem. Balem holds the title to Earth and wants Jupiter dead. She will need the help and support of Caine, a genetically engineered ex-military hunter.
Jupiter and Caine share a special bond as they fight their way out of earth and try to reach the alien planet, where she can stake her claim to the planet. Caine compares himself to a dog in front of Jupiter, who is royalty. But his status does not matter to her when it comes to building relationships.
"Jupiter Ascending" is slated to be released on Feb. 5, 2015 in Australia. Some of the cast members of the movie include Eddie Redmayne as Balem, Sean Bean as Stinger, Douglas Booth as Titus and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Famulus. Will the new movie replicate the success of the "Matrix" trilogy at the box office? Please leave your comments below.
