Nick Robinson of the "Kings of Summer" and "Iron Man 3" kid Ty Simpkins snagged the lead roles of the upcoming fourth installment of the "Jurassic Park" series. The 18-year-old "Kindgs of Summer" star is now into his fourth season on ABC family series Melissa and Joey and is now one of the up-coming young actors who showed great potential and talent. Directed by Colin Trevorrow ("Safety Not Guaranteed"), Jurassic World is going to be a family-friendly PG-13 tone set by the Jurassic Park's original director Steven Spielberg.

Like Spielberg's previous films like "E.T. The Extraterrestrial," "Empire of the Sun," and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"; 12-year-old Ty Simpkins' role on Jurassic World is vital for the film's direction. Actress Bryce Dallas Howard and Jake Johnson (who co-starred in "Safety Not Guaranteed") are rumored to join the cast.

Jurassic World was originally scheduled to be released on June 13, 2014, but due to script changes and redirection of the film the release date is set for summer 2015. The casting news was confirmed by Universal to Mike Fleming at Deadline, and Sam Neill has been in talks for Jurassic World although there is no official word on that yet.

Executive producer Steven Spielberg is heavily involved with the casting process and as stated by Borys Kit at the Hollywood Reporter, "The movie is being built as an ensemble." Bryce Dallas Howard has been offered a lead role but no confirmations yet, but she is one of Universal's short lists to lead the new series.

Now that the movie is in heavy casting mode, film's director Trevorrow, producer Franck Marshall and Spielberg are in full force to review actors that are reading and meeting for roles in Jurassic World.
