The director of "Jurassic World," Colin Trevorrow, has posted a picture from his upcoming movie for the fans. The teaser picture features the actor Chris Pratt standing next to a carnivorous raptor dinosaur. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]
Chriss Pratt plays the role of Owen in the upcoming movie. A picture of him standing next to a eaptor was posted on Colin Trevorrow's official Twitter account. The caption for the picture reads "Happy Holidays from the editing room. Do not try this at home."
Fans of the franchise had previously seen the actor on a bike riding alongside a group of raptors in the night. The scene was part of the first official trailer from the upcoming movie that also showed a host of other dinosaurs that will feature in the movie. The trailer also gave the viewers a glimpse of a new hybrid dinosaur that will be the main focus of the movie.
For the readers who are wondering why the raptors are not eating Chris Pratt, the director had previously revealed that some people had found a way to forge a connection with the dangerous dinosaurs. That would explain why the character Owen is not attacked by the raptors.
Speaking to EmpireOnline, the director reportedly said that the raptors were not exactly pets. He described Owen's relationship with the dinosaurs as "complicated" and that they would bite the "head off" anyone who made the wrong move. He said that the raptors were still "nasty and dangerous" despite what the viewers have seen so far.
The other major attraction in "Jurassic World" is the Mosasaurus. The dinosaur that lives in water will be coming to the screen for the first time in a movie from the franchise. Some of the fans may have seen the trailer of the movie that shows the giant dinosaur eating a shark.
"Jurassic World" is slated to be released in June 2015. The exact release date of the movie in Australia is still not known. The movie marks the return of the franchise that has remained dormant for over a decade. The last movie from the franchise was released in the year 2001.
