'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom': When to expect first trailer
Filming of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” has wrapped up, and director J.A. Bayona is currently busy with post-production. But when can fans expect to see the first trailer? The schedule of the previous movie may give an indication about that.
The 2015 movie was released in June, its trailer released the November before that. The upcoming movie has a similar schedule, so the teaser could be released towards the end of November, and the full trailer may be seen by early December.
What will the trailer show? To start with, filmmakers have to show what happened to the park after the events of the first movie. With barricades broken and no human control over the dinosaurs, the animals may have overrun the island. There could be shots of rusting vehicles and damaged buildings.
The first movie introduced the gyrospheres. In the second, there will be at least one compact submarine. This new vehicle is not a military submarine, so viewers will be able to see who’s driving it underwater.
The money shot in the 2015 trailer was the Mosasaurus. There are many choices for Bayona to choose from for his film. It has been confirmed that there will be an active volcano. It will be exciting to see a dinosaur chase with hot magma running in the background.
The main theme in the first film was the new hybrid dinosaur the scientists created in their labs. The theme of the sequel will be about how the stolen intellectual property will lead to another company or companies creating their own monsters. The plot will explore the consequences of this proliferation of dangerous cloning technology.
Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) will be back to warn everyone about how unpredictable life can be, no matter how many precautions companies take. Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) will also be back to help resolve the situation.
