‘Jurassic World’: Leaked Images Of The New Hybrid Dinosaur, Indominus Rex

IN PHOTO: The sequel to the upcoming movie “Jurassic World” is already in the early stages of production, according to a new report. The movie will mark the return of the franchise to the movie theaters after being dormant for over a decade. The first few images of the new hybrid dinosaur Indominus Rex in "Jurassic World" have appeared online. The leak comes close on the heels of reports talking about how the new dinosaur was created. The actual look of the new dinosaur was not fully revealed in the first official trailer of the movie. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

The first official trailer of "Jurassic World" described the new hybrid dinosaur as "a highly intelligent animal." The dinosaur will go on a killing spree in the movie. The first few images of the new dinosaur have been leaked on 2DayFM. The report describes the new dinosaur as having been created by splicing human DNA into the dinosaur DNA.

The new hybrid dinosaur bears a close resemblance to the popular Tyrannosaurus Rex. The notable difference in Indominus Rex is a face that looks more like a Velociraptor. The colour of the dinosaur's skin is also noticeably very different.

As previously reported by IBTimes, leaks from the movie suggest that the new hybrid dinosaur has been created by using the DNA of Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, a Cuttlefish and a Death Adder. It is unclear what specific traits from each of these animals will be seen in the new dinosaur.

The cuttlefish is known for its ability to change its body colour to blend with the environment and hide from predators. The fish also has an ink sack, similar to the ones found on a squid or an octopus. The Death Adder is a snake commonly found in Australia. The snake also uses camouflage abilities to hunt for prey or hide from predators.

Leaked reports of "Jurassic World" do not specify if the new hybrid dinosaur will have camouflage abilities. Fans of the franchise have seen the new dinosaur chasing Chris Pratt in the first official trailer of the movie that was released in November 2014.

The trailer had only shown the legs of the Indominus Rex. A better look of the new hybrid dinosaur is expected to feature in the next official trailer of "Jurassic World" that is expected to be released in February 2015. The movie is slated to be released on June 11, 2015 in Australia.
