IN PHOTO: The sequel to the upcoming movie “Jurassic World” is already in the early stages of production, according to a new report. The movie will mark the return of the franchise to the movie theaters after being dormant for over a decade. A new YouTube video shows the character named Vic Hoskins of the upcoming “Jurassic World” film for the first time. The character is played by “Daredevil” actor Vincent D’Onofrio, 55, who is dubbed “The Human Chameleon” and an “actor’s actor.”

Titled “Masrani Global - Masrani Security Initiative,” the “Jurassic World” YouTube video has gone viral. Aside from showing D’Onofrio’s character Hoskins, the video offers a glimpse at the fully functional Jurassic World theme park Jurassic Park, which is visited by more than one million guests every year.

In the video, D’Onofrio’s character Hoskins appears to be a compassionate but strict man who will use the weaponry without a second thought to fight dinosaurs unavoidably getting unruly. As the head of private security division of inGen’s, a security firm owned by Masrani Global, Hoskins’ responsibility includes making sure Jurassic World guests are safe.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, “Jurassic World” also stars Chris Pratt, Irrfan Khan, Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Ty Simpkins, Brian Tee, Omar Sy, Nick Robinson, Katie McGrath, Jake Johnson and BD Wong, among others. The sci-fi action film will hit theaters on June 12 in the United States and in the United Kingdom.
