‘Jurassic World’ – What We Know So Far [Watch Trailer]
"Jurassic World" also known as "Jurassic Park" 4, is an upcoming movie from Universal Pictures, directed by Colin Trevorrow. The producers have kept the plot of the movie a secret and the official trailer gives little away.
"Jurassic World" is expected to be set in the Isla Nublar Island, the island was featured in the original "Jurassic Park" movie, which took the world by storm in 1993. The other two movies from the popular franchise were based in the island Isla Sorna or Site B.
Fans are excited to see what the island Isla Nublar looks like after so many years without human intervention. Many are wondering if the computers still work and how the dinosaurs overcame their protective barriers and survived.
Some fans are also hoping that some of the original cast members join in the upcoming movie. The cast of "Jurassic World" includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Jake Johnson, Vincent D'Onofio, Lauren Lapkus, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Katie McGrath, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, BD Wong, Andy Buckley, Brian Tee and Matthew Cardarople.
Recently reports emerged online that the producers of the movie had hired some big boats at the Oahu set. The speculation was based on a few images of boats with the "Jurassic World" logo.
The filming locations of the movie in the U.S include Kualoa Ranch, Hawaii, Kaua'i Hawaii, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, San Diego, California, New Orleans, Louisiana and Manoa Falls, Hawaii. Based on the official trailer and the images from the movie, fans are expecting a lot of underwater action in the movie.
Some fans speculated that the plot of the movie may revolve around genetically modified soldiers who are a cross between humans and dinosaurs, but so far there is no evidence that the producers will make such dramatic changes to a plot formula, which has worked well in the past.
The idea of "Jurassic World" was reportedly first announced by Steven Spielberg at the San Diego Comic Con way back in 2011. The upcoming movie will be released on 12 June 2015 in the U.S, UK, Sweden and Turkey. It will be released on 10 June 2015 in France and on 11 June in Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Singapore.
