The 16-year old Justin Bieber escaped from the clutches of the law when he reportedly threw water balloons at police officers. News on the water balloon throwing came as a surprise as the Canadian star has very wholesome image.

The incident, according to reports, happened in Maryland State Fair last weekend where Justin Bieber had a show.

According to sources quoted by E! News, Justin Bieber threw a water balloon at a Maryland State Trooper. Bieber retreated to his trailer when cops appeared to be on the point of arresting the teenager. Luckily, his bodyguard intervened and managed the situation before the incident gets serious.

But there's no apparent intended disrespect coming from Justin as the singer was just practicing with the water balloon when he hit the officer. The camp of Justin Bieber is yet to issue a statement on the matter, and fans are waiting for a tweet from Bieber.
