Justin Bieber breaks his silence on nude Bora Bora pictures: 'That was shrinkage for me'
Justin Bieber has opened up about his full-frontal naked pictures, which were clicked secretly by paparazzi while he was vacationing in Bora Bora earlier this month.
The Canadian pop star was not happy about the pictures and said he felt it was a severe breach of his privacy. "My first thing was like… how can they do this? Like, I feel super violated," the 21-year-old told Access Hollywood in a new, yet-to-be televised interview.
"Like, I feel like I can't step outside and feel like I can go outside naked. Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space… especially that far away,” he added.
However, privacy was not the only reason why Bieber was unhappy about his nude pictures.
"That was shrinkage for me," the 21-year-old singer joked about how the pictures did not do justice to how his private parts really looked.
The paparazzi pictures circulated in the media showed the pop star having fun on the island nude with 20-year-old model Jayde Pierce.
Although Bieber is unhappy with the pictures, his father Jeremy Bieber complimented him, in a now deleted tweet, saying: "@justinbieber what do you feed that thing. #proud daddy," alongside a blushing face emoji.
Bieber, who releases his next album “Purpose” on Nov. 13, also talked about his career and relationship with on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez in the interview, which will be released in full on Monday. The “What Do You Mean?” singer also expressed his happiness for achieving his first number one on Billboard charts.
“To have a Billboard number one is really special because it's like everything added up together. I debuted at number one and I think I'm the youngest person to debut at number one, which is pretty awesome," he said.
